All three are members of Verso Images Collective, founded in 2009.
1. Olga Kravets, a professional photojournalist since 2007. Has a BA in journalism and has worked as print, online and radio reporter before. Her work has been published by various media across the world, including Berlingske Tidende (Denmark), Dagsavisen (Norway), Elsevier (Neutherlands), Financial Times Deutschland, Helsingin Sanomat (Finland), Kristeligt Dagblad ( Denmark), Suomen Kuvalehti (Finland), Rear View Mirror (Italy), Tank Magazine (UK), The Globe and Mail (Canada), The New York Times (US), The Observer (UK). She has also worked for the news agencies, including Agence France Presse and European Pressphoto Agency and as a field producer, including Channel 4 (UK). Her work was exhibited in Russia, UK, US and Norway. Ms Kravets is a recipient of Chevening Scholarship, Rory Peck Trust Bursary, several Reuters Foundation scholarships, and a nominee of Joop Swart Masterclass 2011.
2. Maria Morina is an emerging Russian documentary photographer and film-maker based in Kiev, Ukraine. Maria Morina was born in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1982. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University, International Relations, and attended Galperin photojournalism faculty in St. Petersburg and several workshops by Yury Kozyrev/ NOOR, and Bjarke Myrthu/ StoryPlanet organized by Objective Reality Foundation. Ms. Morina has participated in several group exhibitions and installations in Russia, UK, and US. Her works have been published in Helsingin Sanomat (Finland), PhotoRaw (Finland), Rear View Mirror (Italy), Foto&Video (Russia). She also worked as a field producer for documentary film Birth Of Nation by Daya Cahen, 2010. In 2011 Ms. Morina’s 5.5 minutes documentary films on Nizhny Tagil youngsters lifestyle was selected for The Rencontres Internationales and screened in Paris, Centre Pompidou.
3. Oksana Yushko, a professional photojournalist since 2006, higher education in computer science and mathematics. In 2011 selected participant of Noor-Nikon masterclass in documentary photography in Bucharest, Romania. In 2010 finalist of Conscientious Portfolio Competition, among others. Exhibited in major galleries in Moscow such as the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, Mel Gallery, FotoSoyuz Gallery, Red October Exhibition Center, and also in Saint-Petersburg FotoDepartament Gallery, Krasnoyarsk Museum Center, Yekaterinburg Metenkov House Photo Museum and also in UK and US, has been published by media across the world, including Russian Reporter magazine, Expert, Russian Newsweek, Ogoniok, Kommersant, Foto&Video, The St.Petersburg Times, Russia Beyond The Headlines (Russia), RFE/RL, The New York Times, Guardian (UK), Stern (Germany), Mare (Germany), Le Point (France), La Vanguardia (Spain), Helsingin Sanomat (Finland), Rear View Mirror (Italy), VISION (China).
Together with Grozny project exhibited at NYPH Provocation 2011 and had screening at Palm Springs Photo Festival 2011, World Photography Festival (London, UK) 2011 and FOLI, Lima Biennale of Photography, Peru, 2012. Also finalists of the Aftermath Project 2010 and Manuel Rivera-Ortiz prize 2011, the Grand Prize Winner in the Multimedia Category of the Lens Culture International Exposure Awards 2011.
